Ranting about ratings and wall street.

Guys, I know that yall might be looking forward to this film . I was too. This is showing me as a reviewer how a movie can take such a concept and make it so trashy. I wanted to see this movie but now it seems that I cant because of my age. Its tragic and I will take a look at the book to see if all of that was indeed necessary. I will post my catching fire review soon. Im sorry for that wait, but hey exams are over and I can work now. Thanks for watching!

2014~ movies that have my attention_- good and bad. PART 1....

Hello, all of my lovely readers who eat popcorn! So, with 2014 coming up asap I've decided to break up all the months and say which movies i want to see! These can be good or bad reason so, lets get started!

JANUARY 2014

Jan.10,2014~ Her: This movie in a nutshell is about a man, divorced and single decides to have a relationship with his phone......OK, so this sounded weird but the trailer had me wondering what the voice of the phone is? Who would have a nice enough voice to do it, Scarlett Johansson!!!! So, i will be seeing this something during the year, not in theaters.

Jan.17,2014~ The devils due: I'm a HUGE and i mean HUGE fan of pregnancy movies. ( judge me later) This movie though sounds like a huge remake of the movie Rosemary's baby. Both centered around a woman pregnant with the devils baby....wait how did he get them pregnant......

Jan. 17,2014~ Ride Along: This movie looks hilarious. A school police officer wants to marry a real cops sister. One of my favorite comedian is in this - Kevin Hart. He is a short guy with a huge mouth....i wonder where he will end up?

March .21,2014 ~ Divergent:  No I haven't read the books. No, I'
m not excited. I'm simply interested, i wonder say much except that the movie could be a hit like the Hunger Games or fail like my favorite series turned movie Beautiful Creatures.

Captain America: Winter Solider:  I'M SO EXCITED!!! THIS MOVIE HAS EVERYTHING AND IS JUST AH UGHH !! I JUST WANT TO SEE THIS NOW!!  CHRIS EVANS IS HOT AND I JUST UHHHH!! SEEING THIS IS THEATERS WHEN IT COMES OUT!

So, that is the first part. The next part will start with Summer movies !!

Sleeping in fear of the box. ( the possession movie review)

What movie had no plot line, lifeless characters and scared the absolute crap out of me? Well, last Saturday my sister and her friend and I decided to watch a horror movie named -The possession. 

Now I will give you the actual plot and then my own version....which one is better?

The story follows a little girl named Em, her parents have recently divorced and her sister is more outgoing than her. So, at a garage sale Em finds this strange wooden box that has words on the outside, written in Hebrew of course! Em's father buys the box to make her happy and later finds out that it was a stupid move.
Em opens the box and finds jars. Some of the jars have some fun items like rotten teeth and zacadas!
Well, after Em opens the box some really werid and strange things start to happen to her. She finds a finger in her throat. Her father reliezes that she is possessed and needs a exocism.

       My version, ( way better)

There is this stupid ten year old girl named Em. You see Em's parents are divorced.  ( they mention it like a billion of times.)   At this garage sale Em and her sister and father go to , she sees a box and she thinks the creepy box is pretty so she buys it. Haha big mistake Em.

Stupid Em opens the box to see some pretty messed up items. This girl dosent even flinch when she sees a rotten tooth! Like seriously I would of puked or screamed. So like everything that was in the box happens in like real life.
 Her poor sister is going to need so much theropy after what happened to her sister. So, Em gets poses sed by this Hebrew demon and we have our movie.

Now,  I had high expectations for this movie. Was I pleased? HELL NO!

You don't care at all for these characters and most importantly you want the mother to die. This mother is stupid. She dosent care at all for the girl or her ex-husband. Like at some points I want didn't care for anyone at all.
There is no story plot and the scenes are choppy .

This movie gets 3 out of 5 stars. A good Halloween movie but that's it. Watch it on Netflix and don't buy it.

week of 10-13-13 - THE BEST SLICE OF PIE I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE!

When you think of the best piece of pie you have ever eaten in your whole life, you think of the piece of pie your mom made or grandma when you were a child.
Ok now take that slice of pie in your mind and multiply the number by 1,000, you get how good this pie was.

I was lucky enough that last week my creative writing class and I went on a food tour. We had been walking in the rain for a good twenty minutes or so until we came across a little bakery, named the WPA BAKERY.

Now, the WPA bakery has the normal exterior of a normal bakery in the city. The brick stacking be a main asset.

 You don't think twice about what it looks like until you walk in and smell warmth. No, it's not actual warmth but, the warm inviting smell of COFFEE!!!! The inviting smell of roasting beans and vanilla. At that point I was freezing and just wanted some hot coco to warm me up.

Now they gave us two options: a cupcake that was ok and the pie. OH THE PIE!
This pie looked beautiful, a white custard pie with blackberry drizzle. The way it tasted though, no words could describe the feeling.

The buttermilk pie, known to me as the best thing I have ever eaten. Tastes like love, creamy, sweet and bad for you. I believe if we just gave this pie to everyone, we would get world peace. The pie was so creamy it tasted like velvet going down my throat. I wanted more...and more and more.

So I suggest if you are :
A- starting your period or on it
B- ran a mile
C- got dumped
D- on a diet.
Go out to WPA bakery and order a buttermilk pie.

Friday, September 27,2013 - Movie Trailer News, Avengers 2 and Frozen.

                                               

                                             Happy Friday everyone!

I know I should of done this last night , but my Wi-Fi was out. So, here it is today!


 I saw two movie trailers that caught my eye. The first one would have to be the anticipated  Avengers 2, age of Ultron trailer. When I saw this movie trailer was up I had a major geek out moment. 

 The trailer was of course a teaser trailer, but still had grown men and teenagers scream with joy. If you have not seen the trailer yet, then I highly suggest that you go out and watch it. The teaser had the forming of a figure and had all the main characters saying a important line from the previous movie. My thoughts on this teaser, this teaser was perfect. It didn't show to much and had me yearning for more. My only major problem with this teaser was that they only had the main characters, Thor, Captain America , the Hulk and Iron Man. WHERE IS BLACK WIDOW!!

The second trailer I saw was the full length trailer for Frozen. I will say I'm so happy to see a trailer for this movie! Looking at the trailer after made me sort of sad. Reason why you ask, it looks cheesy and identical to Tangled. I LOVED Tangled and seeing that this is sort of copied it makes me royally mad. It was hilarious at some points, but hey try something new! I will see this in theaters and will probably love it.
